Greetings All, Hope that everyone is doing well today.
Recently, my new Dell PowerEdge 4-node C6220 SFF 8x E5-2660 with 256GB ram and 2-Gb NIC's on each node that finally arrived and I wanting to experiment with getting Triton setup and installed. I also, have 2 of the 16-Port GbE Web Smart Switch's to set up the Admin and External networks. I was watching an installation for Triton on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIdbggrEZMY&feature=youtu.be and was wondering about the Admin and External networks. As I understand, the Admin network has DHCP running to handle giving out IP's on the 10.66.66.x network (in the video example) but was wondering abut the External network. Do I also need a DHCP network (192.168.0.x) running on it as well to give out IP's as well? If so, then I think that I might be able to enable the DHCP in one of the 16-Port GbE Web Smart Switch's or I have an external wired/wireless router that can do it as well. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated as I just want to get a simple 4-node cluster up and running to do some testing for a base project that I am working on at the moment. Thanks and have a great day, Lonnie ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
