Daniel, I just finished getting setup here and I reproduced the problem. I filed OS-6320 for this issue.
The problem is that systemd is aborting itself on an internal assert. It appears to hit this because it closes the same file descriptor twice in a row and then hits the assert when the second close returns an error. Here is the portion of the trace I gathered right before systemd core dumps. systemd 105280 1 <- close(4)=0 systemd 105280 1 <- close(4)=-9 systemd 105280 1 <- writev(3 2)=106 (Assertion 'close_nointr(fd) != -EBADF' failed at src/basic/fd-util.c:67, function safe_close(). Aborting.) systemd 105280 1 <- rt_sigprocmask=0 systemd 105280 1 send signal: 6 to: systemd pid 105280, tid 1 I need to do a little more work to investigate this. The file descriptor being closed is from a socket and it is possible something else is going wrong earlier, since I see a bind on that socket failed. Thanks for letting us know about this issue, Jerry On Wed, Aug 30, 2017 at 1:29 PM, Daniel Plominski <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Jerry, > > > > i have looked at https://github.com/lxc/lxc/blob/master/templates/lxc- > opensuse.in > > a modified dataset I had then created by https://uk.images. > linuxcontainers.org/images/opensuse/42.3/amd64/default/ > 20170829_00:53/rootfs.tar.xz > > > > it happens however the same systemd crash dump … > > > > Mit freundlichen Grüßen > > > > > > *DANIEL PLOMINSKI* > > Leiter – IT / Head of IT > > > > Telefon 09265 808-151 | Mobil 0151 58026316 | [email protected] > > PGP Key: http://pgp.ass.de/2B4EB20A.key > > > > > > [image: cid:C17DB6FB-5F79-4BCC-AAB4-CAB59266BC29@localdomain] > > > > ASS-Einrichtungssysteme GmbH > > ASS-Adam-Stegner-Straße 19 | D-96342 Stockheim > > > > Geschäftsführer: Matthias Stegner, Michael Stegner, Stefan Weiß > > Amtsgericht Coburg HRB 3395 | Ust-ID: DE218715721 > > > > [image: cid:E40AEC87-91EE-472A-901A-ECAD3F5801FB@localdomain] > > > > *Von:* Jerry Jelinek [mailto:[email protected]] > *Gesendet:* Mittwoch, 30.
