Seems that disabling ACPI WHEA support from BIOS fixed the boot issue I was having and all the onboard NIC's (2* igb & 2* ixgbe) show up with ifconfig as expected now that driver support is there. I also disabled XHCI Hand-off and XHCI Pre-boot driver "just in case", will need to test if those even make any difference.
...Nodes still seem to have random boot issues after all, no output after Copyright notice.
Some of the nodes boot "okayish" and some don't after numerous reboots.
