We did get early (ish) notification this time. We had a PoC, but were not able
to make bad things happen to the illumos/SmartOS stack immediately. The
underlying issue (reassembly inefficiency might be exploitable remotely) is
something we're keeping a wary eye upon.
Anyone using KVM or BHYVE VMs will have to consult their local guest's OS
status, of course. LX or Native zone users use the illumos/SmartOS stack.
