I installed again Debian on the FreeRunner with the Debian kernel: as
this afternoon the process went smoothly and at the first reboot, the
Debian FR can call :-D

This time I tried with Om2008.9 and all was OK, except the known Qtopia
qpe problem WRT the microSD.

This time it took around 50 minutes with a basic Swiss ADSL connection
(advertised as 5Mbit/s, real speed is around 575kB/s), again note added
to the wiki [5].
