I can tell to you how I solved. The problem is not of o-p-p, but is a dbus problem.

i got the latest sources from the opp project site and built the deb -- i had to change the version from 0.5-1 (to 0.9-2) but afterwards it installed and works now again.
so, indeed, these are different issues.

If you try to do a mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.frameworkd I think you will receive an error.
I solved so:

not that i in the least understand that complex dbus security, but tzo me it seems, you are disabling it totally. what confuses me is, that it used to work before. what exactly did change in ms5 that made it incompatible to the dbus security?

or is it an issue with mdbus itself?

any hints from the fso guys?
should i file a bug? if yes, in fso or debian?
