It's also worth noting that occasionally (about 1 time in 10) the segfault does not happen and ophonekitd appears to start up OK.
i experienced those segfaults when ophonekitd was apparently unable to connect to frameworkd, similar to zhone's issues with being unable to read auth status, though more frequently. if true that could mean, that structure should be initialized when connecting to frameworkd -- but there's no check for an actual connection but ophonekitd dully works down its path w/o ever considering a possible error, thus sooner or later falling in this pit.
