Basically: there were no one complaining :)
We know what triggers the bug, avoid that, and just look the other
way.
Now I am taking your "How come... ?" as a polite complaint so I may be
filing a proper bug report.

Pretty much the same, I tested the patches on a780 and a1200 before
sending them out, and my rough test scripts work on both.
