Could the features include something that add some device specific arguments to an application: Let's take some games as an example. for instance pingus or wesnoth. for launching correctly the game, most of the time you need to specify the resolution, because the devices often don't have the same resolution as the computer standard ones(for instance freerunner has 480x640,htcdream has 480x320, palm-pre has 320x480,nokia900 has 800x480 etc...) Sometimes you also need special arguments such as nosound and nomusic or smallgui(wesnoth for nokia900)
