I have a service, called robinsrv. I have added into smf. I have test it using svcadm robinsrv enable and svcadm disable robinsrv. Everything works fine. When service starts, it'll do some checks periodically. When it stops it'll send an email and let me know the service is down. The service is depending on auto-fs and multi-user.
My problem is when the server is down(run reboot or shutdown command by root) I can't receive the notice email. Can anyone explain what's the exact shutdown process will do? I'm new to solaris but I'm familiar with Linux. Thanks, Robin -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
