Folks, How does SMF monitor things (processes) ? Is it tracing the processes ?. How is SMF monitoring child processes ?.
In other words, if a process is started under SMF is it
possible for a developer to truss that particular process (i.e the processes
being monitored by SMF ? )
I did do an experiment and it looks like either SMF isn't using process tracing
OR Solaris 10 allows more than one process to trace the same process ?.
