This was a "Duh!" moment. I figured it out... mount -o remount / svccfg import <my-fixed-manifest>.xml reboot Now I still can't figure out why the xml file in /var/svc/manifest/ did not match what was in the repository. I guess the cycle was detected before the new manifest was imported?.. -Seb
