I'm working on getting both the (incomplete) document and documentation source available as an OpenSolaris project. The project is approved, and I just need to finish the legal process to get the document source released. Once it's available through OpenSolaris, we'll be able to collaborate on content and integrate comments more easily. The document is far from finished, but once it reaches a 'complete enough' state, the goal is to take the document source which this community has collaborated on and publish it as a docs.sun.com guide. I'll announce here once the "SMF Documentation Project" which will house the documentation source repository is open.
