Hi Liane, >>- If you're willing, start with your FAQ as rev 1. We can all do a >>review and post it on the SMF site when the review is complete. >> >>- Add a section to acknowledge contributors.
ok, I will do that. >>- Once the SVN support is available on opensolaris.org, include the >>FAQ in the repository. Regular contributors (starting with you!) >>get commit access, I 'm sure there is a FAQ about howto access the repository ;-) BTW: There' s a good looking php tool for manageing FAQs: http://www.phpmyfaq.de/features.php >> but all changes go through a review on this alias >>before they're putback. That's something I also think is necessary >>Thoughts or comments? At this time the "FAQ" is mainly a more or less sorted collection of SMF related information. To convert it to an official FAQ some decisions about what should be in the FAQ and what not must be taken. Not all information in the FAQ should be in the official FAQ and I'm sure there are a lot of information missing The "FAQ" as of now only uses very simple HTML formating; I think it needs some enhancements (maybe there 's a template for these kind of WEB pages?) >>Bernd, if you're willing to let us use your FAQ as the basis for a >>community hosted FAQ, let us know, That's okay >> and point us at the HTML you'd like >>us to review. (I'm hoping to have some time to do the review early >>next week.) http://home.arcor.de/bnsmb/public/htdocs/My_Little_SMF_FAQ.html regards Bernd This message posted from opensolaris.org
