Steven,

I am just curious. I am with SunMC development and had worked extensively on 
converting SunMC services to use SMF. Why are you trying to run these services 
as non-root? I am not sure if the actual code itself will work if not run as 
'root' as these services require 'root' permissions for lot of operations. Like 
opening sockets in the restricted port range.
