Thanks. In fact the creation of users is a one time activity that needs to be executed on first reboot after the installation, then onwards it is not reqd. So that could be an issue with rcx.d and another smf service for running the script.
Also editing the passwd file directly won't solve the problm, since we need to modify /etc/shadow etc, which could damage the file. Richard, It would be great, if you could post the useradd script action file, in case if you find it. Regards, Joseph This message posted from opensolaris.org
