Nope, Monitors are the ability to have service-specific check for liveness that would help a restarter determine whether a service is online, degraded, etc. I've called the request referred to in the link above as "Transitions", though that may be a bit opaque. It's configurable notification on service state change. Antonello's been working on a proposal for just that, and I expect he'll have a version posted here soon for discussion. liane
