The book you cite is a Solaris 10 book. I have updated the original doc bug that was submitted almost three years ago: http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6423740 But I am wondering now whether this is still a high priority to fix or whether we should just focus on making sure the information is in the OpenSolaris documentation. Brian, it sounds like if you found newer documentation, you wouldn't have been using the Solaris 10 book - is that correct? I see some documentation here "SMF Concepts - System Administration Guide: Basic Administration" http://dlc.sun.com/osol/docs/content/SYSADV1/dzhid.html#esini and there might be more. Have you by now found the answers to your questions in the OpenSolaris documentation? Please give me your opinion: Is it still important to update the Solaris 10 Application Packaging guide? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
