Hmm, odd. SMF should have detected the manifest change and import the new one for you. Can you post the manifest, and the dependency you added? Did you check /var/svc/log/<service log>? The only thing I can think of is the manifest didn't pass validation, and SMF didn't import it. In this case, I don't know whether SMF would have fallen back to the "previous" snapshot, or bombed completely. The log may be able to tell you. You can also try "svccfg import bootcluster.xml" directly, if it didn't validate, you'll see it right away. CT
