Right, we were looking at it more as a phased set of changes:
Clearview/UV would take one step, putting the link-specific
properties into the repository; then NWAM would move more
stuff in and re-organize a bit.

This assumes that we can appropriately label the properties
introduced by Clearview/UV as volatile/uncommitted/whatever.

Is that a valid assumption?
