Has anyone else notice this? I have installed the exact same hardware, one with 2gig of memory, and one with 4gig. These are Tyan 2885 mobos.
The 2 gig system has single core processors. The 4 gig system has dual core processors. The 4 gig dual core system takes way longer to import the manifests the first boot, than the 2 gig system does. The only difference is the amount of memory and the dual core processors. Whatever it is, it causes the system to crawl when it imports the manifests after the first reboot from install.
