Yes, it is a good solution until you consider the application of 
profiles and secure-by-default.  You want to honor the intentions of the 
selected profile and also coordinate this with managing the print 
services as a whole.  The secure-by-default profiles don't manage the 
print/server service and probably shouldn't, but they do manage the 
dependent network listening services and probably should.  There in lies 
the rub.
