I'm pleased to (finally!) announce the opening of the smf-doc project. The goal of this project is to serve as a location for collaboration on current and future SMF documentation.
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/smf-doc/ As of its opening, a very very early draft (consider it 'notes', really) of an SMF Developer Guide is published in PDF and HTML format, as well as is available for download and contribution in source form. Comments and contributions are appreciated, as there's *lots* to do before it's ready for primetime on docs.sun.com. We'll continue using smf-discuss as the primary mail list for this project until the traffic becomes overwhelming.
