Hmm, I can't see how I can use contracts for this purpose.

Nothing special; I'm curious  if we can use the repository for dynamic data of 
our applications like pids, port numbers, log filenames, etc. 

The company I'm working for just starts changing there installation and 
configuration methods to use the new features of Solaris 10. So now is the time 
to see what's possible in Solaris 10 and how to use it.
