Hello,

just a little theorical question about smf

Are there some particular reason your stored SMF methods in /lib ?
Which is - by default - an inherited filesystem for zones ? Since a
non global zone administrator can edit the SMF repository, it's a bit
annoying he need to copy the script from /lib to another directory if
he wants to modify it. Moreover, if he wants add a service which is
not in the global zone SMF repository, the administrator can't store
its method where the others one.

My another point is /lib was only used for core librairies need while
boot. Even if SMF profiles are required while the boot operation (by
init), I don't understand what is the problem with /etc/smf/method for
example.

Thanks
