I was reserving the namespace for future work involving potential additional method types. Capture methods were for configuration migration; I'm still not certain this approach is viable, since the conditions restricting when the capture method should be allowed to run are unclear. The monitor directory is for monitor method commands, when smf(5) gets a full service monitor spec.
