It's close, but not quite the same. Nate wanted site.xml to enable nis/client while having sysidtool set up for DNS. This is currently not possible, and we need to document that sysidtool takes precedence over site.xml. (I haven't gotten around to filing the bugs yet.) You want nis/server to be enabled by site.xml, which is legitimate, since there's not a good reason for sysidtool to disable it. David
