Hey Darren: Sorry, I missed your post. Velitium sounds interesting to me - I tried to do a little reading but havn't got very far. I think my current approach will be to put together a boot archive to get to the single-user milestone, and then start a few additional services such as sshd and syslog along with our product code in an rcS script. Drivers is a bit of a question at the moment as we are going to do initial development on a variety of different boxes with different driver requirements.
