I've just begun using SmokePing to assist in quantifying the latency to some of the other branches at my company (connected via frame-relay).
I am concerned about DoS'ing myself by sending out probes to all the branches at the same time (or in rapid succession). Is this even a valid concern? Is there a way to limit the rate at which the pings are sent out?
