Hi,
I edited smokeping.cgi to contain valid paths and copied it to my cgi-bin directory. When I try to go to http://webserver/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi I get an Internal Server Error. I checked my error log, and it shows the following: [Tue Sep 17 13:12:09 2002] [error] [client 10.219.5.10] malformed header from sc ript. Bad header=Daemonizing /var/www/cgi-bin/s: /var/www/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi [Tue Sep 17 13:13:48 2002] [error] [client 10.219.5.10] malformed header from sc ript. Bad header=Daemonizing /var/www/cgi-bin/s: /var/www/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi I realize that the web server is trying to daemonize the script which is what happens when I run smokeping executable.
