An earlier post March 2002 had the same error from /home/username/smokeping/lib, and the resolution was to make the home dir 777. Why would smokeping need write permisions at a the parent directory level? But does it need write permissions somewhere else?
REFRENCE: http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/smokeping-users/msg00508.html It also did not solve the problem I was having to make those changes. I have changed the permissions back to 755 owned by apache the httpd user account, so they should be readable by any user. >1) Can't locate Smokeping.pm in @INC (@INC contains: >"/var/www/htdocs/t2/smokeping/lib" "/usr/local/rrdtool/lib/perl" >/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 >/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 >/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at >/var/www/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi line 7. _________________________________________________________________ Get MSN 8 and help protect your children with advanced parental controls. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/parental -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Help mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/smokeping-users WebAdmin http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/lsg2.cgi
