Well, that's the thing.. I want to know for 100% sure if it's just that the box 
can't handle it.

I don't think it's the case. It's a dual xeon 2.4ghz, 2gb ram, raid0 15k scsi 
drive - seems like it has enough I/O and CPU, and if I watch while 
smokeping/fping are going, the usage is relatively minimal.

If the fact is that it's not finishing in time, I'll live with it. If that's 
not the case, I'd like to try and figure out a way around it. I guess what I'm 
trying to find out is:

If the tests don't complete in time do they:

a) make a gap in the graph
b) duplicate the previous entry
