Did you place it in your cgi-bin directory and did you build apache with CGI
support? Sounds to me like apache doesn't realize its an executable program.

Are your seeing your config file, or the text of the smokeping.cgi file?

I can´t access my smokeping.cgi trough my web server. The config file is
running well, all the .rrd files are generated. I edited the
smokeping.cgi.dist to smokeping.cgi according to my server configuration,
moved to the cgiurl path, but when I access it by web I saw the
configuration (text).

What did I do wrong ????

another thing:

imgcache = /home/oetiker/public_html/.simg
imgurl   = ../.simg

I don´t understand well about the ".simg" . What is exactly the .simg file
????

Regards

David
