Here's one possibility depending on what kind of network architecture
you're using:

I have two Internet connections here, and I use two Cisco routers for
redundancy, both connected to a common LAN and running HSRP and BGP. If
you have a setup like this, you could use a proxy ping with the
CiscoRTTMonEchoICMP probe to ping from the routers rather than the
Smokeping machine itself. You have to be careful that the source address
is on the provider's network (e.g. the WAN address of each router vs. my
public LAN, which BGP directs over a single preferred link) otherwise
the return path might be through the other router.

What I do is go ahead and ping directly from my Smokeping box to monitor
a particular server, then do separate probes from the Ciscos to
addresses I know *should* (iff BGP and the links themselves are happy
and healthy) to monitor the ISP connections themselves.

Subject: [BULK] - [smokeping-users] logging multiple connections

smokeping-users,

I want to smokeping my servers through 2 different isp's.
My smokeping machine has access to 2 different internetconnections.
How can i setup smokeping that it uses the 2 connections to monitor
  my servers ?
I want to see server1 pinged through isp1
  and server1 pinged through isp2

Thanks in advance for the help
