Mark, Look at the documentation for the EchoPing probe. This might fit your needs as EchoPing allows you to set the ToS bit, packet size etc. EchoPing uses TCP/UDP rather than ICMP so you need to make sure the endpoint listens on the appropriate port - default is 7/tcp.
