Well here is one way to do it. Set the "to = " in your config file to a external program. Have that make the decisions on whom is notified, etc.
Here is a example format that will send to a e-mail address AND call a external program for each alert. See your config file. to = [EMAIL PROTECTED],|/usr/local/smokeping/special_notifications.sh -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of B. Something like mailserver1.domain.org and it's contact would be to sms email their phone and mailserver2.domain.net and it's contact would be some pager.. I'd figure out how to notify them correctly ;) but I'm looking to see if it's possible. Because it sure would help if smokeping could tell someone else when their stuff is down.. I was going to give each of them their own smokeping install :P -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Help mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/smokeping-users WebAdmin http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/lsg2.cgi -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Help mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/smokeping-users WebAdmin http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/lsg2.cgi
