Hi,

2.2.4 is available for Debian in the 'testing' and 'unstable' branches,
and I think the package should work OK on Etch as well. Just download
the .deb and install it manually with 'dpkg -i'. (Or put testing or
unstable in your sources.list and study apt_preferences(5)).
