Hi, at the moment i am developing a webfrontend for the smokeping tool to add change and delete hosts and categories to smokeping.
i want to let die script restart smokeping with this perl code: `sudo /etc/init.d/smokeping restart`; the script runs as user wwwrun. i modified the /etc/sudoers file to let wwwrun execute this. wwwrun has a bash as well. when i do it like this it does not work well. the config file is generated correctly. the entrys made appear in the frontend of smokeping but it collects no data if the probetype is "ping". if the probetype is "http" the data will be collected anyway. this is pretty weird. maybe annyone can help me. greetings, Fischer -- GMX FreeMail: 1 GB Postfach, 5 E-Mail-Adressen, 10 Free SMS.
