Hi all I have a problem with slaves and alerts.
I have setup a master/slave config as the master cannot reach the remote hosts. All is working fine, graphs is fine. But it seems that the alerts doesn't work with slaves. Snippets +someloss type = loss # in percent pattern = ==S,>0% comment = any loss +rttdetect type = rtt # in milliseconds pattern = ==S,>100 comment = more than 100 ms ++ Host1 menu = Host1 title = Host1 (xx.xx.xx.xx) host = xx.xx.xx.xx slaves= yy.yy.yy.yy alerts= someloss,rttdetect ++ Host2 menu = Host2 title = Host2 (aa.aa.aa.aa) host = aa.aa.aa.aa slaves= bb.bb.bb.bb alerts= someloss,rttdetect Since rtt is always more than 100ms, I should be getting emails constantly right? But no emails. I have checked /var/log/maillog but no mail attempts.
