Have you installed SmokePing via synaptic / apt-get ... or have you done a 'manual' installation?
My install on Ubuntu [just done via synaptic] actually uses a separate user account for the Smokeping daemon. This is what I have set for the permissions on /var/lib/smokeping: Owner: smokeping - SmokePing daemon Access: Read and write Group: www-data Access: Read-only Others Access: Read-only Obviously make sure that's applied properly to both the files & folders. Does that make any difference at all? --David Tomic Richey wrote: > I am trying to get Smoke Ping running on Ubuntu 7.10 – Gutsy Gibbon with > Apache2. I can’t get the graphs to do anything.
