Hello! I run smokeping 2.3.6 for a long time. But yesterday I decided to test master-slave configuration, so I'm newbie ;-)
I added to config: *** Slaves *** secrets=/etc/smokeping/slavesecrets.conf +dm display_name=dm location=P100 color=ff0000 ... #and at the end of targets: ++ DM-localhost menu = DM-localhost title = DM-localhost Connectivity probe= FPing slaves = dm +++ DM-localhost menu = DM-localhost title = RTTMon ping from DM to 127.0.0.1 host = 127.0.0.1 alertee = [email protected] Than I start slave: smokeping --master-url=http://mandela.p98.belkam.com/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi --cache-dir=/var/smokeping/ --shared-secret=/var/smokeping/secret.txt --nodaemon --debug-daemon ... FPing: probing 1 targets with step 300 s and offset 133 s. FPing: Sleeping 95 seconds. FPing: Executing /usr/sbin/fping -C 20 -q -B1 -r1 -b1500 -i10 127.0.0.1 FPing: Got fping output: '127.0.0.1 : 0.05 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.04 0.04 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03 0.03' Sent data to Server.
