Further looking at the fping.pm probe under ../lib/Smokeping/probes/, I can't see that there's a definition for the -I option. Checking Github ( https://github.com/oetiker/SmokePing/) there's no update there.
So I guess (other than coding it myself) the answer is no? :-) Neil
