I’m starting a school project which, at its core, will depend on a
system that can send and receive SMS messages. I’m considering the
usage of SMSlib for setting up this system; I will need to buy a cell
phone for the project and would like to ask for recommendation on the
best cell phone to work with it.
Here in my country, there are the following phones available:
IR BT Gnokii Vary
Nokia models
3220
5140b X X X
6020 X X
6103 X X
6230 X X X
Sony-Ericsson Models
K750 X X X
W580 X X
W800 X X
W810 X X
Z550 X X
IR means Infrared, BT means Bluetooth, Gnokii means phone is
compatible with Gnokii (which probably means that system might work in
Linux) and Vary means model name slightly varies from the one on the
compatibility models page.
Could anybody recommend any of these phones based on your experience?
