I assume that you are talking about v3.3.1 and not v3.3.

Yes this is a known bug. There is also an announcement (
http://groups.google.com/group/smslib-announce/browse_thread/thread/4a1a9d272d4c16ec)
for this, as well as instructions on what to do in order to fix it.
