If you are seeing the same message whether you have your phone
connected or not, its surely a javacomm issue.

If you run on Win32, use JavaComm v2. If you are on Linux, use RxTx.
DO NOT USE BOTH!!! Remove the one completely!

Tell me a bit more about your setup: Operating system, phone model,
connectivity method (serial, usb?)?
