The NumberPoolRouter has been designed to route messages to specific gateways, according to the actual recipient numbers. For example, you could set the NumberPoolRouter to route recipients starting with "+30" to gateway A and recipients starting with "+49" to gateway B.
If you enable the NumberPoolRouter without assigning numbers and gateway associations, every message will fail - that's why its remarked by default.
