Sorry, I cannot reproduce this.

I work with MS Sql Server, and "*" as the gateway in the database -
but I don't think it makes any difference.
Check your database for correct structure. Also check to see if the
"errors" field has any >0 value - this would indicate failed attempts
to send the messages.
