I ran something similar to my. I solved this doing a configuration on the
phone.

Let me tell you:

My phone stores the short message into two parts:

-In the phone memory.
-In the SIM card.

When smslib trying to read the sms is read two storages this is the reason
because the sms is duplicated.

Try to configure your phone to just store it in one place.


It work to me.
