Hi,

I am writing a cross-platform application. It would seem easiest
therefore to use RxTx as there is no javax.comm support for all
platforms. However, I have heard and experienced that javax.comm
provides better support for virtual comm ports.

Is it possible to choose at runtime whether to use RxTx or
javax.comm? Then I could attempt to load javax.comm, and if the
relevant JNI library is not available, fallback to RxTx.

Thanks for any help,

Alex
