Hi Thanasis, What I understand is if gateway inbound is set to "Yes", then it will try to read in the sms and then delete it (if we set it to delete after reading). So if I try to do a read by triggering the read URL, there will be no more sms to read. Hence I want to stop the gateway from reading incoming sms. The sms should only be read when I trigger the read URL.
Maybe I was using it wrongly, hope you can advise. Thanks a million. lyf On Feb 8, 3:00 pm, Thanasis <[email protected]> wrote: > Sorry, I must have missed something as I don't understand the problem > here... > > Since you have set the gateway to INBOUND=NO, why do you expect the > READ operation to return something? > > On Feb 8, 5:59 am, lyf <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hi, > > > Forgot to add that when I tried to call the read url, I still cannot > > receive any messages but there are messages left in the modem (in fact > > I set to not delete after read) > > > <messages> > > <error>0</error> > > </messages> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SMSLib User Support Group" group.
